What is everything?

everything is a monorepository for rebuilding and open-sourcing software applications and tools. It groups free, open-source alternatives across office, collaboration, creative, engineering, productivity, finance, business, developer tools, and games. The project is primarily written in JavaScript, with TypeScript, Python, Rust, and shell code also present.

Written by a model from the README and the source

18,673 files and 237,012 symbols in 2 modules, led by JavaScript (13,313 files) and TypeScript (2,557).

Code health

7.4out of 10Good

This codebase scores 7.4 out of 10 for code health, which we rate good. It also scores maintainability 5.4 and static performance 9.9 out of 10. The three are scored separately and never blended into one number. Risk is concentrated, as it usually is: 113 of 18,673 files are git hotspots, and they average 4.8 — which is where the fixes pay off most.

Point Claude Code, Cursor, Codex or VS Code at this repository. Your agent gets the index this page is built from: cited answers, callers, history and health for any file.

  1. 1.In Claude, open Customize → Connectors, click +, then Add custom connector. On a Team or Enterprise plan an owner adds it first under Organization settings → Connectors.
  2. 2.Paste the server URL below as the Remote MCP server URL, then click Add.
  3. 3.Click Connect. A Repowise sign-in window opens. Approve access.
  4. 4.Repowise's tools are now available in your Claude chats.

  • everything provides engineering tools for CAD, parametric design, circuits, and building design.
  • everything provides productivity, finance, business, developer, and game applications, including an API Client, accounting tools, and games such as Chess and Sudoku.

How heyputer/everything works

everything organizes its applications and tools under the src directory, where each package provides its own runtime, interface, and entry point. Application execution enters through files such as src/3d/src/main.ts, which starts the 3D application, and src/accounting/src/main.js, which bootstraps the accounting interface. The 3D subsystem connects UI controls, compositing, preferences, tracking, and document operations through src/3d. The accounting subsystem uses an in-memory Store to select pages or transaction forms from routes or transaction identifiers. src/audio-studio connects a JavaScript UI and model layer to a WebAssembly DSP engine for audio sessions and effects. The repository also includes dev, where configureServer attaches a rewrite to the server's listening event.

The codebase has 18,673 files and 237,012 symbols in 2 modules, led by JavaScript, TypeScript and Python. Code health is 7.4 out of 10, rated good.

About this page

Get a page like this for your own codebase

Repowise built this map of heyputer/everything from its source and git history. It parses every symbol, draws the dependency graph, scores each file's health from complexity, duplication, coverage and churn, finds hotspots and owners in the history, and writes documentation for every module. Your coding agent reads the same index over MCP, so its answers cite real files.
